About the Scholarship.
After Maddie passed away in October 2023, the Hines family searched for a way to honor her that Christmas. No one knew this had been on their hearts. When a friend of the family shared about financial struggles and asked them to pray, the Hines knew instantly how they would carry Maddie’s legacy forward—by loving and serving the people around them.
That simple act of kindness became the spark that ignited something greater: a desire to share the love of God with as many people as possible.
From that spark came the M.A.D.D.I.E. Scholarship—a scholarship designed to honor students who Make A Difference Daily Inspiring Everyone. (M.A.D.D.I.E)
